About

I am a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer and social worker, and have been practicing photography for most of my life and shooting professionally for several years.

I’m excited about capturing and documenting real and precious moments of life and connection between children and families. My extensive professional knowledge of child development and psychology informs my photography, and helps me anticipate special moments to photograph, and allows me to assist in facilitating moments of connection. I think the best photos are taken when clients feel relaxed and comfortable, not when staged and trying to appear a certain glossy way. I want to photograph families in those magical everyday moments that can be overlooked, but are the most beautiful.

As a queer woman, I am passionate about capturing the beauty of queer and trans families and relationships. It is so important that LGBTQ+ families are documented in their authenticity and are seen in their joy and love. Chosen families, families of origin, platonic love, romantic love, queer childhood, trans birthing parents, and those discovering their authentic expressions deserve to be captured beautifully and wholly. I understand the immense power in seeing yourself reflected in a photograph.
